Dashboard Confessional

Have you ever heard about Dashboard Confessional? They're an Alternative Rock band from Florida, USA.

Dashboard Confessional's first album "The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most" was released in 2001. What I like more about this great band it's their awesome acoustic songs and the great voice of Chris Carrabba.

Chris Carraba, lead singer and guitarist of Dashboard Confessional.
You can listen Dashboard Confessional HERE, at their Spotify Profile. I especially like the songs "Hands Down", "The Places That You Came to Fear the Most", "Screaming Infidelities" and " Turpentine Chaser", although is very difficult to choose the best one's since their songs are all very good.

Dashboard Confessional's song "Vindicated" was also on the soundtrack of Spiderman 2.

Let me show you two of Dashboard Confessional's songs, "Screaming Infidelities" and "Hands Down". I also share with you their awesome MTV Unplugged concert:

So, I hope you liked Dashboard Confessional and I recommend you to go to their Spotify Profile and go through their songs. Please follow me at Surf Locus Facebook Page "www.facebook.com/surflocus". Have Fun!!

Barefoot Truth

Last week I showed you the great musician and professional surfer Donavon Frankenreiter, that has many beautiful songs and a crazy surfing style.

This week I want to show to you a very cool band: Barefoot Truth. They are an american roots rook band with beautiful jam's and acoustic songs. An unusual feature about Barefoot Truth is that their lead singer, Will Evans, is also the band drummer. He also remind me of "Shaggy" from Scooby-Doo, lol.

Barefoot Truth. Down Left is Will Evans, the lead singer, drummer and guitarist
So far, they released 6 albums with great musics such as "Roll If You Fall", "Damage Done", "Changes in the Weather", "The Ocean" and "OK".

So, without further ado, let me show you some of their songs:

Matisyahu and his expression through music

Today i want to share what i think is a great person and musician. Is name is Matthew Paul Miller, known as Matisyahu. He is a Reggae/Hip-Hop/Beat Boxer singer that really puts the soul in his music. Matisyahu is Jewish, and his religion is fully expressed in his songs. I find his lyrics very beautiful and meaningful and he is surely one of my favorite artists.

I leave you here with two songs; the first in a Reggae Tone, from the Album "Live at Stubb's" and the second an acoustic version of his song "Crossroads". Please take time to analyse his lyrics and the way he express himself through his music. Give me Feedback ;) By the Way, what is your favorite Artist? And Why?
